BBC Season 11 Lookbook

Billionaire Boys Club debuts some dope pieces for their 11th season. The highly renowned menswear brand from Pharrell Williams of N.E.R.D. is still going strong. Very nice looks this season with the more simplistic touch compared to season 10's off the wall approach.

Nike Air Max Penny 1 Retro - Spring 2011

The Air Max Penny 1 is set to return Spring 2011 in it's original "Orlando" colorway. Great news for Penny Hardaway and Air Penny fans; I'm hyped for it already. The first retro release came in 2007 along with a Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks makeup. Nike plans to release a Phoenix inspired Penny 1 along with the original Orlando colorway, and both will retail for $125.

Premiere: Nike Air Max Lebron VIII

We saw a few teaser photos just days ago, now here is the premiere of the Air Max Lebron VIII. The next chapter in the Nike Lebron saga shows to be a bit different from the Lebron VII, however it still has a few similarities. Who knows where King James will suit up next season (CLEVELAND), but we now know what he'll sport on the court. Will these be loved  by the fans, or completely rejected before the final product even hits shelves?

Selective Backpack

On my search of a new backpack, I spotted RegularOlTy sporting a Selective bag on his site a while back. Selective comes from Hong Kong so you won't find these at your local store. Made of high quality nylon with leather accents, these bags are built to last. I need that red/white or yellow/white soon. Ty has a few available in each color now.

Vans OTW - The Westin

I'm not a big fan of Vans but I must say these are nice. The Westin is a clean style in the OTW, a new collection in the Vans line. Dressed in a curry brown premium leather, these make a great addition to the Fall season wardrobe. Only $85, Vans did a hell of a job making an affordable high quality shoe.

Band of Outsiders x Sperry Top-Sider Chukka

Everyone's favorite go-to guys for boat shoes, Sperry Top-Sider, has come together once again with apparel line Band of Outsiders, to create this boat shoe Chukka. These aren't your typical boat shoes your father wore, the Chukka boat shoe blends the boot with the sunshine casual shoe that you can wear with shorts, slacks, or jeans while still standing out. For $200, these are an investment that will last you YEARS with it's outstanding quality.

Nike Air Max Lebron VIII Preview

Following the great success of the Air Max Lebron VII, Nike wants to keep it on the same side of the road with the Lebron VIII. Using the same silhouette with a few adjustments to the visual design, the Lebron VIII uses the full Air Max bag in the sole that gave its predecessor the claim to fame. The extra detail included on the VIII's could spark a well reaction or uproar from Lebron and Nike fans.

These are just pics of the sample, which means they could change entirely at any time before August or October on the final version. Images via: LRJ23

Curren$y - King Kong OFFICIAL VIDEO

Here is the visual for 'King Kong", the first single from Curren$y's Pilot Talk. The album's release has been delayed so many times I'm losing track. Initially March 23rd, then it was pushed back to June 15th, and now tomorrow June 22nd. I've even heard it won't hit stores until July 13th, but hopefully tomorrow is correct.

Nike All Court Low QS

Perfect for the summer. I love these. The Nike All Court Low is a clean casual shoe that is a must have. These are available now at select Nike retailers in a canvas birch/white and navy/white colorway. Retail is $75.

If you're in the Cincinnati area call  Corporate for availability.

Art & Sole

Bringing two of my favorite things together, the book Art & Sole - Contemporary Sneaker Art & Design, created by graphic design group Intercity, highlights the sneaker culture and illustrates the high collaboration between artists and designer brands. It is an inspirational collection of artworks from numerous artists that have major influences in the sneaker and art cultures. The details associated with each piece in the book are ridiculous. I've wanted this book ever since I spotted it in Urban Outfitters over the summer, and I WILL have a copy soon.

You can purchase your copy here: Art & Sole

L.e. For The Uncool "The Anti-Parachute Theory"

L.e. For the Uncool is an up and coming artist already with a major buzz from Columbus, OH. Formerly of Fly. U, this guy is doing is own thing now and doing it quite well. Something new and extra DOPE for Hip-Hop. I listen to it HEAVY. The mixtape dropped August of 2009 but I felt I should post it for others to get hip.

Check the visuals for "Bulldog BMX" off the mixtape. A lot of detail was put into this video and I love it.

Spring 2011 Release - Nike Air Max Nomo

Now, I don't know much about Hideo Nomo or baseball in the 90's other than Reds and Indians but I do remember seeing these joints on kids in elementary. And I remember that my parents would NOT buy me a pair, no matter how bad I wanted them. The awkward design on the upper panel just did something to my imagination every time I saw them.

With a high resemblance to the Nike Air Max Griffey 1 that gained so much success with it's retro release this past year, Nike plans to drop the Nike Air Max NM Spring 2011. We'll see a release of both blue/white/black and red/black/maize colorways. Retail will be $140 for these. Info via TheShoeGame.com

A Max Burger

This work of food art is dope. It's a burger created by Swedish artist Olle Hemmendorff to resemble the Nike Air Max 90. Check the detail on that. These really remind me of the AM90 "DQM Bacon".

Chambray Does the Job

I've found my new favorite fabric, and it's name is Chambray. Chambray is a closely woven cotton fabric mostly used in uniform shirts worn by workmen in the mid 1950's . The chambray shirt was the biggest hit in the 80's and 90's as an alternative to the heavier denim shirt.

I already have a few chambray shirts, but I'm on the hunt for more. A LOT more; short-sleeve, long-sleeve, vintage, whatever's clever. A nice chambray and a pair of khakis, cargo, or camo's and the job is done.
